A company's success is tightly linked to the communities in which it operates and grows. At Frank Cowan Company, community involvement is not just something we talk about. We know that active involvement greatly enriches community life, and we are committed to improving the quality of life in the communities where our employees live and work. We fulfill that commitment primarily through the following programs and events.
Cowan Community Volunteer Program
We support our employees’ volunteer commitments. The Community Volunteer Program distributes funds every year to charities selected by our employee volunteers and their families.
The Read-a-thon is a program supported by The Cowan Foundation. Through this initiative, employees of the Princeton Holdings group of companies have the opportunity to participate in the distribution of funds through The Cowan Foundation by engaging the children in their lives in a summer reading program that will benefit Free the Children, an international charity and educational partner, working to empower and enable youth to be agents of change with a strong focus on education.
The Cowan Holiday Card Program
Since 2004, The Cowan Foundation has donated funds annually during the holiday season on behalf of all companies within Princeton Holdings Limited. The 2016 recipient was Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, these funds have been directed towards programs that focus on children and youth. Visit www.bigbrothersbigsisters.ca to learn more.
